  1. Wash and Soak rice and daal for 15 mins.In a pressure cooker add both rice and daal together so totally it’s 1.5 cups. Water 4 cups mix well. Add salt. Allow for 4 whistle and off the flame.

  3. In a pan add ghee, once hot, add cumin seeds, black pepper, hing, cashews, curry leaves allow to fry for few seconds, until cashews turns golden brown.
  4. Now the pressure would’ve gone. Smash the rice and daal nicely with a help of laddle.
