  15. 2 Sprigs Curry Leaves
  16. 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  17. Oil (For Roasting Uttapam)
  18. For Peanut Chutney:
  19. 1/2 cup Roasted Peanuts
  20. 4-5 cloves Garlic
  21. 1 " Ginger
  22. 3 Green Chillies
  23. Juice of Half Lemon
  24. 1/4 tsp Salt
  25. 1/2 cup Water

Instructions to make to make Instant Oats-Rava Uttapam

  1. In a mixing bowl add rava.
  2. Grind the oats into powder and add to the rava. Add gram flour and mix.
  3. Add curd and water and mix well. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Grate the carrots and add it to the rava-oats batter. Mix well.
  6. Add 1/4 cup water and mix well.
  7. Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds.
  8. Add green chillies, curry leaves and onions and saute.
  9. Add baking powder to the batter.
  10. Saute till the onions are translucent. Cool it a bit and add it to the batter and mix well.
  11. Heat a pan on low to medium heat. Add 1 tsp oil. Add a spoonful of the batter. Cook until golden and crispy on both sides.
  12. Repeat for the rest of the batter.
  13. Instant Oats-Rava Uttapam is ready. Serve it immediately with peanut chutney.
  14. Steps for making the Peanut Chutney: Roast the peanuts. Remove the skin. Add it to a blender and blend it.
  15. Add garlic and ginger to the ground peanuts.
  16. Add green chillies and salt and blend together.
  17. Add lemon juice and water and blend to a smooth paste.
