Steps to make to make Raswala sour sweet dhokla

  1. In a bowl, add gram flour, semolina, lemon juice, curd and water (not too thin), cover and keep for 2-3 hours. After 2-3 hours the batter will ferment.
  2. Now mix green chilli ginger paste, salt and sugar in the batter and add baking soda and baking powder to it and put it in an oiled pot and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes. After cooking, insert a knife into the dhokla, if the knife is slightly wet when cooked, cook the dhokla for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Cut the cooked dhokla into whatever shape you want.
  4. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add mustard, asafoetida, red chilli, red chilli powder and turmeric powder, and roast on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  5. Add 4 cups of water, jaggery, tamarind pulp and salt, mix well and boil for 5-6 minutes.
    Add the dhokla and allow it to boil on a low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Your Raswala Sour Sweet Dhokla is ready. Now serve it immediately by garnishing it with coriander.
